He senses a disconnect between alumni and dirt road fans. http://www.finebaum.com/shane.html Many times I've laughed with my fellow students of the game as we joked about the shallow conversations we've shared with these upper echelon types. Most of the "elite" class fans appear surprisingly ignorant when I quiz them on the details of the strategy, techniques and tactics of football.
