My favorite Bond is Sean Connery.

However, my favorite Bond movie is Goldeneye w/ Pierce Brosnan.

See, I liked Pierce Brosnan a little better than Sean Connery, mainly because he was a mean James Bond. Yes, Sean Connery played the role with panache. But Pierce Brosnan was downright steely and no-nonsense.

Meanwhile, when it comes to Roger Moore, the less said the better.

I'm not saying he's my favorite Bond, but I think Daniel Craig did a good job in Casino Royale. I think that movie was much better than the last couple of Bond movies, even though I like Pierce Brosnan a lot. They just got a little too cartoonish with all the high-tech gadgets prior to Casino Royale.

Pierce Brosnan is the hottest of the hot. I have lusted after him since Remmington Steele. He, like Connery, just gets better with age. He was an AWESOME Bond.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that. I enjoyed Goldeneye, hated tomorrow never dies and skipped every Bond movie after that up until they changed Bonds. I thought Casino Royale was a breath of fresh air to the Bond movie genre. I liked it enough to go see the next Bond movie in the theaters

Roger Moore will always be Bond to me. The first Bond movies I saw were Roger Moore's. Although I really liked Daniel Craig's Casino Royale.

Have you seen The Matador?

Check it out and let Taylor know what you think of Pierce's speedo scene.

Guess it's in the eye of the beholder, but I've always thought Sean Connery was more ruthless in some of his earlier work than any Bond since...he did, however, balance it with humor and panache at other times. I'd have to rewatch them all to recall the exact scenes that left me with this opinion, however.

When it comes to Bond women, it's hard to top the best two bikini scenes of all time: Ursula Andress walking out of the surf in "Dr. No" and Halle Berry walking out of the surf in "Die Another Day". [Although Octopussy's Isle of beautiful women has to figure in every heterosexual man's fantasies, too. ;) ]

What's your point BP? You want to know why you're the running joke around here? You like to post articles that try and slam AU with no commentary or original opinion. Are capable of this or is it over your academic qualifications?

By the way, it doesn't get any better than Connery in Goldfinger.

Sean Connery IS James Bond. Anyone else is fake.

They're kind of like Tommy Thayer wearing Ace Frehley makeup. Yeah, he's adequate. He might even play as well or better, but he's not Ace.

That's hard to say. It's easier to define the WORST. Gene, Paul, Vinnie, Eric Carr.

I liked the Gene, Paul, Bruce, Eric Singer lineup best I guess because of the CoS and Revenge albums.

I like all the Bond movies, but Sean is THE James Bond to me. Anyone ever read the books, they have been re-released and I have a few, good if short reads.

Sean Connery #1

But I think of the ones I've seen since ...Daniel Craig did an awesome job in Casino Royale....also one of my favorite Bond films in years.

Pierce Brosnan did an ok job as Bond but the films were to way too out there, with the gagdets, for my taste...it made the movies less enjoyable. I liked Brosnan much better in The Thomas Crown Affair plus Renee Russo gratuitous nude scenes (before she had a jaw like a man)
