SouthLink02 8
Former UGA coach Jim Donnan is rumored to be on the short list for the job. Would be an EXCELLENT hire to start a program..... I like Jim Great recruiter that could build a solid foundation at USA and then move into an associate AD position. It makes perfect sense.... In hindsight, UGA certainly made a good decision to trade Donnan in for Richt, but at the time I thought it was sort of a head scratcher. I couldn't figure out why they got rid of him. I always liked Donnan. he would be great for USA. BTW, its about time they got a football team. Many, Many agreed with you Donnan's eye for talent was quite incredible He just needs 1-2 assistants to keep him straight numbers wise as he was very disorganized when it came to recruiting numbers and position wise. He also needs to be a little tougher on players off-the-field. Former players have said he let too many players do what they want off-the-field...cough, cough Quincy Carter...
