Anyone have info on the other recruits i gave my opinion on most. Big Cat weeken really jump started Auburn. Plus Michael Dyer now has AU no.1

RB Lache Seastrunk- Auburn seems to be the favorite right now

RB Marcus Lattimore- Said Auburn is near the top

OL Eric Mack- Said Auburn is his new leader

WR Trovon Reed- Auburn is in the mix

LB Khairi Fortt - probably stays in Big 10

WR Jeremy Richardson -commit

OL Chase Hughes - dont know if he has a soild offer yet

DL Kenneth Carter - Auburn is in top 3

Jacobs: No offer.

Sessions: We're "at the top of his list" with a few other schools. Prob. UGA bound if they offer, not sure they willl though.

Owens: Auburn or small possibility out of state.

I think it's between us and LSU for Owens. I'd love to get this kid. I think he's ours to lose at this point.

I'm pleased with the way recruiting is going and I know very well it's early, but I wish we had more linemen in the mix as well. I hope we can end up getting Chase Hughes, Mack, the big kid out of Mississippi and several more before it's over. What I can't understand is our CRITICAL NEED at those positions and the promise of IMMEDIATE Playing time and just one Lineman commit so far?

Does anyone here know why we haven't offered O.C. Brown? He seems to be a big lineman with high interest in Auburn.

These great RBs will bring in the type of talent we are looking for on the line. I don't think we'll have any problem at all finding guys wanting to stand in front of Rollison, Seastrunk/Lattimore/Dyer, I think what we have as far as starters are concerned right now on the OL isnt too bad...the depth will be the issue. They'll eventually get the guys they need. Malzahn knows a little bit about offense coming from Tulsa's #1 ranked attack....as does Luper and Trooper from Ok. States #6 ranked attack in 2008.

DeQuan Menzie is a GREAT talent but will not qualify and has a terrible academic work ethic. Maybe placement will help the light come on but I would hope it would be in a prep school. He needs the structure.

I still think if we could get one true home run commit the rest of the pieces would start to fall into place. I wouldn't say that BCW is not paying off at all, but we certainly need more.
