Sports fans always wondered where college stars got the fancy cars, clothes and apartments, and now Charles Barkley confirms our suspicions.

Speaking on Dan Patrick's radio show, the man once dubbed the Round Mound of Rebound says he got paid by agents and isn't losing sleep over it.

"If a guy wants to borrow money from an agent because he's poor, what is wrong with that?" Barkley told Patrick. "Nobody can tell me what is wrong with that. I got money from agents when I was in college and I went in the 80s. Most of the players I know borrowed money from agents. The colleges don't give us anything. If they give us a pair of sneakers, they get in trouble. Why can't an agent lend me some money and I'll pay him back when I graduate?"

Barkley and Patrick were discussing former USCrunning back Reggie Bush, who earlier this week returned the 2005 Heisman Trophy after a probe found he received money and other illegal benefits from agents.

"Reggie made one mistake. He should have paid those (agents) back and this whole thing never would have happened," he told Patrick

There's nothing to worry about from an NCAA standpoint. It's just a shame that with so many positive images of Auburn out there, we've got this jerk running his mouth. When you think he can't possibly do anything else embarrassing, here he comes again!

Barkley, please run for Governor so I can vote against you.
