Mikey 16,643
The NCAA's ended Saturday with Auburn finishing 8th. Cal won, with Georgia second and USCw third. We didn't have enough swimmers qualify (eleven) to make a serious run. A swim meet like that is all about depth and if a team doesn't have at least 17 or 18 qualify to enter the meet there is little chance to finish first. Auburn's Ariana Vanderpool-Wallace finished first in both the 50 and 100 free and a couple of Auburn's relay teams did well, but that was it for this go-round. I went to the women's NCAA meet in Auburn a few years ago when Auburn won it. It's something worth attending if you get a chance. Auburn's men have a better chance this year and they start Thursday.
