Has anybody heard what they plan on doing with it.  It would be a shame to have to destroy it.  I wonder if they could utilize it for something else.  It might be to expensive though to remodel

I haven't heard anything, but I would love to see them transfrom it into a indoor football practice facility.

They're going to keep it for a little while, because Auburn get's a few million from the State for upkeep.

My understading is it will remain there and continue to be used for gymnastics, graduation, camps, and all that.

they are tearing it down and using it for a parking lot.

The likely outcome will be a demolition and subsequent building of state of the art indoor practice facilities to replace the piss poor 25 yard warehouse that the team currently uses. Hopefully the university will have a special bring down the coliseum event where the implode the structure.

Yeah I really wish they would get started on a new practice facillity.  I know michigan just recently got a very nice facillity.  I figured that the practice facillity though would be where the current one is.
