Yeah, they always have and always will.

Ever since Mack got to Tex. they have.  For a while there OU was getting all the top athletes from Tex.  When Mack got to UT he made it a priority to keep kids in state. 

Let's see what Tuberville does about this.

Tech never did get the best recruits from the state, but there are plenty of athletes in this state to go around.  More so on the offensive side of the ball, because of the organized 7 on 7 league's that they allow starting in the 7th grade and are allowed to play in the summer.

Texas pioneered the early recruiting process. Makes sense they continue to build especially with their future so well in place, financially and staff.

Once again the state is so big and high school football is so abundant.  The kids fill like they better commit early or they will lose a spot.

Texas will always sign a top 10 class, most of the time top 5, and 95 %, if not more, of the guys they sign will be from Texas. And they will be pretty much down with their class by the time the season starts. Must be nice for their coaches going into the season knowing you already have a loaded class for next year already comitted.
