“You know you shouldn't be driving, but you have to for your job, for your life,” Cruz-Salas said in an interview Friday as he sat in the tidy suburban apartment he shares with his parents and sisters. For years they have all been driving without licenses because of their illegal status, always looking over their shoulders, always fearing a traffic stop could lead to deportation.

Not having a licenses isn't going to stop them from driving. Least in this form the state is getting some additional revenue out of them.

Perhaps the complaints should be about the people that are giving them jobs as illegals.

What about the people that are encouraging them and refusing to enforce the border to start with. As to the employers, that should be a big part of immigration enforcement. Make the penalties high enough that it isn't worth the reward of having these people work for such low wages. I would like to see a monetary penalty of say $100,000 or more per illegal that an employer has working for them plus a possible suspension or revocation of the business license

That side of the border issue is always discussed. It's when you start hurting the employers that they start bailing or don't want to talk about.

Like the guy from Cullman... he was all for immigration laws and keeping them out..........except when it hurt his business.
