  1. I'm sure the Dems will find a suitable puppet duo to replace the pudding-headed Biden regime. RFK Jr. would not fit their current plan.
  2. Robert Kennedy Jr vs Vivek Ramaswamy? 2 very intelligent, well-spoken candidates that could actually have a thoughtful, logical and rational debate that wouldn't embarrass the country like the last 2 elections? I'm all for it, but we're too collectively stupid to allow that to happen.
  3. I do like that guy. Very eloquent and logical speaker.
  4. We always think we know more than we know...until we figure out we never did. Then we do it again, and again, and again.
  5. Very few QB's have improved over the years at Auburn, especially under Malzahn/Harsin. Nick Marshall is about the only example I can think of. Stidham actually regressed IMO. Bo Nix would have done the same had he stayed, so he made the best choice for himself. Jason Campbell blossomed into something special under Tubbs, but it was the emergence of Borges and the use of the "Gulf Coast" offense and the plethora of playmakers around him, along with the stout D that helped. Man, I'd love to see that type of team show back up at Auburn.
  6. Also, Antoine Carter...if only for the extreme hustle that led to one of the most important plays in Auburn history in running down Mark Ingram and punching the ball into the end zone.
  7. It would be tough for me not to choose Cadillac
  8. LOL, Matt Walsh isn't a hero, he's a realist.
  9. Maybe Nancy bought 15,000 tickets and tried to hand them out front hoping folks would come in and just didn't get many takers. :)~
  10. I could say the very same thing in reverse. I wouldn't want my son or daughter raised by Trump, Biden, the Clinton's, etc...In fact, I'm not sure I'd be ok with a single politician in that role, regardless of affiliation...nor several family members for that matter. I hear a lot of folks from the dem side villainize anything and everyone who doesn't share their beliefs. Every rep, libertarian, centrist, etc... is evil and full of hate. Similar things have been true over the years with religious fanatics. You and yours (in general, not specifically "you" or "yours") are virtuous and pure. Everyone else are misguided heathens bound for damnation. We live in a world now where you are judged not by your character, but by what group you have been placed in by the judges themselves, whether you actually belong there or not. Facts or personal responsibility be damned! Groupthink, perception, snap judgements, reactionary emotions, mass blame and virtue signaling is where it's at!
  11. I guess I've been accidentally boycotting it for 30+ years. The only time I've bought any over that time was for someone else, because it's what they drank. In other words, who cares?
  12. If I ever get one, it'll be as a short trip vehicle like many of you have stated. I do use a lot of battery tools...Ryobi drills, lawnmower, weed eater, etc...They use the same 18v batteries and chargers. If you have a smallish lawn, the yard tools are great. Medium yards, you might want to go 40v. I believe I heard that batteries for some of these EV's can be $15k or more. That's a concern.
  13. Dang, how did I miss this post? Just bought a couple of season tickets in Section 42 today. After all these years, I finally live close enough to pull the trigger.
  14. So was Sonny Bono. Heck Schwarzenegger and Ventura were governors. Imagine those 4 on the ballot.
  15. It was a bad enough choice in 2016. Worse in 2020. We can't get decent folks to actually run for the office, much less get elected. Had Jerry Springer not just passed away, it wouldn't have surprised me to see him on the next ballot at this point. We've reached full stupid.
  16. Forget cake walks. Now shotgun walks at fund raisers! I kid. I've never understood getting kids guns at ages beneath say, 12-13, but I'm not a hunter nor have I ever bought a firearm. I will say that most of the true gun enthusiasts I've ever know are the safest folks in the world and teaching safety to the kids is paramount and keeping their weapons and ammo locked in safe places is the norm.
  17. And many who poll as left wing are actually classical liberal or centrist. That centrist portion needs to speak up quickly and loudly.
  18. Maybe Rane is a good dude, maybe he isn't. Maybe Saunders is a good dude, maybe he isn't. I've never met either of them. I have met Bo Jackson and Bruce Pearl, and spoken with them both. From both my personal interactions with them and their respective actions on/off the field/court I can make an educated assumption that they are both quite impressive and sincere guys. Unless you have a personal relationship, or have had a significant interaction with Saunders or Rane, I really don't care what your opinion is of either. It is no more significant than mine, regardless of which side of the coin you are on. I happen to have advocated for Prime in the coaching search. However, I imagine you would run across the same dynamic on a Florida State message board about him as you find here with Rane. I have to imagine Prime is a big FSU fan/donor (maybe not), and I imagine their fan base really likes him and would love to have him coach, whether he proves to be a decent coach or not. They would likely defend him against any naysayers against any skepticism.
  19. I was there. AUsome season! WDE!
