  1. I noticed the UGA fans were barking a lot early, but soon were vocally bashing Bobo's play calling and the QB play. They had their moments, but as we were leaving the stadium and heading across campus I also noticed most of them were a bit stunned at the outcome. They realized that their team wasn't nearly as good as they thought they were. I had a similar experience with Clemson fans when they left Jordan-Hare in 2016. One couple even told my son it was a good game and that it was really close. Some UGA fans eating next to us at Mellow Mushroom afterwards were very polite and quite calm and collected.
  2. I walked out of the Auburn/Clemson debacle in 2016 along with dejected Clemson fans. No fan that left that stadium was happy with what they had just witnessed. FWIW, Clemson went on to win the natty that year. Auburn laid some early eggs in both 2010 and 2013 too. UGA should have lost to Mizzou early last season. Just saying, we are at a crossroads. I believe we can get there with this staff if we can get a good class or two behind us. It's not all doom and gloom.
  3. With this OL, I think Robby may be our best current bet. If our threat to pass is as weak for the rest of the season as it was on Saturday, then teams will load the box to pressure the QB and limit the run. Ashford's ability to run and extend plays may be our only weapon to back 'em off a bit.
  4. Oh, this is as ripe a group as I've ever seen. This week should be fun!
  5. Good for him. Politicians love to glom onto the success of others and ride their success, regardless of their intent or consent.
  6. Dang it! We even snuck in another player in the front 7 and still can't get it done. JK, I don't think we'll know how much work needs to be done 'till after this weekend...at least I hope we don't find out this weekend.
  7. I imagine a significant portion of this issue had to do with either being locked down (being forced to stay at home for school, work, etc... leading to isolation and depression) and some small businesses being devastated and folks losing their jobs and livelihoods.
  8. 45-14 We have to try at least one FG right?
  9. Indeed, and the 2 before that one.
  10. He has a good blend of intelligence, energy and guts to go on multiple platforms (from either side) and debate. Traits we have been lacking over the past few elections. He says a lot of the right things, and several of the wrong things, but they are his words and he doesn't expect softball questions or read from teleprompters. He is too young and inexperienced to really make an impact. Remember, some of you buffoons thought the brain-dead puppets Pete Buttigieg and Kamala Harris were viable candidates in 2020.
  11. Neither will get the nomination, but both would destroy you in a debate.
  12. He's milquetoast. No personality. No vision. I don't think he'd get anything at all accomplished in office.
