  1. His evaluation wasn't bad (didn't block, didn't tackle, we need to get them fired up). I can say with certainty, he wasn't the only one in shock.
  2. This is actually a huge part of their culture, they've been using it to their advantage for thirty years or more and EVERYBODY has copied them on it. I've been reading a lot lately with the whole Auburn/Under Armour contract about how the recruits have got to have it. Apparently you can't win a national championship in basketball without it. I agree with you, it's definitely not a problem.
  3. Like many, there are a lot of things about Deion that I like, but the delivery can be over the top at times. I watched the entirety of their game last night like I wish I could have engaged with the last three Auburn games...and I haven't watched CU or CSU in a very long time. One thing I have come to realize is that Shadeur is a stud at QB; he is very talented throwing the football.
  4. I really don't know how Mike Gundy is still a HC
  5. It's almost reminiscent of the SMU saga. As though the administration somehow thought they could get through it without it getting into the public domain. Pretty sorry state of affairs for Michigan State alum and fans. I just do not see how they will justify the delayed move to act.
  6. With all that Michigan State has been through relative to title IX issues, the other question equally relevant is how stupid is MSU? The accusations surfaced last year and they are still investigating unbelievable behavior Tucker does not deny engaging in.
  7. I'm with you, was in full blown Roy Kent mode last night. Just could not believe how much this offense looked like the one's from the previous ten years or so.
  8. Morton had already done what was required the next night back in June as @augolf1716 alluded to.....
  9. Watched it after reading these posts. Most interesting take in my opinion was Kingsbury which was pretty pragmatic, just get him on the field and let him be JFF. Too bad he couldn't get Kyler Murray to do likewise. Bottom line for me is Manziel was as great a college football player as he is a crappy human being. Seems like he still is.....
  10. No way it actually went down as being portrayed.
  11. Now I remember why I stopped looking at this board...you never stop posting and your're completely insufferable; 24 THOUSAND posts and all of them negative.
  12. Wow, that's so freaking good, thanks so much for posting. Headed back to the beach in June, finally going to stop at Huggin' Molly's this year.
  13. He is absolutely the Michael Scott of SEC football coaches.
  14. As soon as Gonzo gets back. Just hoping he will get back. I want to believe that will radically change the way this staff performs. Five or six quality innings on the front end of Friday will make the back end on Sunday a whole lot stronger.
  15. On another diamond in the SEC, Vandy got two grand slams and 11 RBI from Parker Noland en route to a 26-3 win over Miss State. MSU is in free fall since winning it all two seasons ago. They are winless in their last 15 conference games...Lemonis may not be who we thought he was.
  16. McMurray's pinch hit single is a sign of good things to come from him I believe. I'm thinking drive one out big guy, and he's thinking hit a good pitch...he was right.
  17. Tigers draw a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the 11th to walk it off. Gritty win right there folks.
  18. I understand the frustration, but the captain behind the plate is giving his all on defense. Not much to give with a bat in his hands, but he's all out behind the plate.
  19. Not sure why he didn't have a good secondary lead, but he was slididng to put on the brakes as he rounded third when the ball was retrieved after bounced back to the infield. We are just struggling everywhere right now.
  20. Butch gave another update today, more of the same...could be out up to six more weeks. For what it's worth, I've got no problem with the way he watches out for his pitchers.
  21. I get the sense Butch won't make a change...pretty much no matter what. I love his mental make up and leadership, but it sucks that a starting SEC catcher can't do any more than call his own pitches and blosk at an acceptable level. Htting and being able to throw out an occasional stolen base attempt just aren't in the cards for us right now.
  22. Pretty well accepted that Butch and ‘Rock are still trying to figure out what they’ve got in terms of pitching and which guys can do what. Additionally, Butch has proven he understands what is important in terms of wins and losses. Pretty sure the end goal is still Omaha, but for now it is simply 15+ conference wins by Hoover. One word of caution for those that might live or die on every game…don’t jump off the roof if things go ugly this weekend. There will still be 27 more opportunities to get the aforementioned 15. Lots of time for some of these pitchers to learn what they need to be doing, but most will need to be able to fail some to figure it out.
  23. Bauman gave up 1 run on 7 hits over the first 4 innings. Three relievers nada over the final five. I hope we don't wear out Armstrong. Some timely hitting, Ike Irish looks like the real deal. As @SaltyTigerpointed out, Cole Foster is en fuego right now...4 for 5 on the night with a HR and 4 RBI. Nate LaRue is so valuable behind the plate, possibly the only kid in America calling his own pitches, but man is he struggling with a bat in his hand. Everybody please say a prayer for him to break out of his funk....please Lord. PLEASE. Meanwhile the Updykes drop their first to baseball powerhouse Columbia in Tuscaloosa 😏
