  1. Anyone get a sense that CBH is sliding his old OC onto the sideline as the WR'S coach so that is there needs to be another Offense blood letting he can move CEK into the OC's spot after firing CMB?
  2. Wow, I hope TF does not tell us how he really feels. Harsin may have no backbone but he has a set of stones! CGM would have never pulled BN that's a L for sure.
  3. I must add that I have never seen the field look that bad this early in the season. After warm ups there was turned up grass everywhere. Did we get a new sod company? Yes the BOO birds were out for Nix near the end of the second on a few throws and in the third they got louder on several throws. But I will say I think some of the BOOs were also on play calling especially in the red zone. The place also erupted when TJ can in and that Nix had to hear. If it were not for the blocked punt, I think the fans might have start to leave, but that Single play woke the crowd up for the rest of the game and in the 4th it was an SEC atmosphere game.
  4. It is not all doom and gloom, we did use or face to break there hands!!
  5. Not true, people who have taken the vaccine can still get the virus. My mother is one.
  6. Any reason Lee Hunter did not play. I figured he would get PT in the first 2 games at least.
  7. Dang, now I got to come up with something else to do this week.
  8. The only thing I ask for this years football season is to not get blown out in any game. Either we have a heck of a defense and they will keep us in games or our offense is really really bad and it is fabricating hype about out D. Guess we find out both answers Sept. 18th.
  9. Maybe he really really likes Oranges.
  10. Clemson, FSU and ND don’t want to give up their cup cake schedules to play on the SEC where we, week in week out are bashing our heads in so at the end of the season we have to play a SEC championship game then a playoff semi final game and a National Title game. Do any of you think a Dabo team could honestly go undefeated in the SEC East or West year and year out like he has theses last few year. No way. He won’t Leave the ACC because he owns it and will for the next decade and when some one actually challenges him consistently for dominance he will retire. If anything the ACC will try and add West Virginia (for the rivalry vs Pitt) and ND (most of their sports are already play in the ACC anyways, for example Football is the Independent). Even then they won’t infringe on Clemson. Nor bell at FSU will take a while to get them back to consistently 9 & 10 win seasons if he can last that long.

  12. Pod 1 is good UGA vs UF battle every year. Pod 2 is AU vs UA until UT gets there act together. Pod 3 is all LSU and Pod 4 is the toughest IMO between OU, UT and aTm (poor Mizzo)
  13. Look the guy has not even coached a game yet and fans/media are on him. Give him time, if he succeeds and has a good, competitive product, amen, if not then jump on him. But till that first game the guy has to set the tone of the team. If his tone is telling young men to listen to medical staff of the pro’s and con’s of the virus and make a big boy decision, then that is direction he takes it. Sounds like he is telling them your men make a decision and move on, we got a game to get ready for.
  14. Did they really have to use this picture, they could not come up with one with out the guy in the background holding his twig and berries?
  15. Emmertt is the captain of the USS NCAA that is sinking and he is standing tall and telling everyone that its fine, a little water never hurt anyone.
  16. Shivers runs so hard, the air around him is scared it will get hit so it just parts in front of him
  17. So do the cell phones and social media posts from the sideline during the game start this year or next. Can't wait to see who the first on field social media post is.
  18. Send the amateur world in a further tailspin, have NCAA close its doors and say you guys figure it out.
  19. UGA hired the USCw track and field women’s head coach one day after winning the NCAA National outdoor track and field championship, to run the men’s and women’s program. Tells men that if you want a quality product it is possible to do something about it.
  20. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/rival-sec-baseball-atmospheres-prove-140019741.html Auburn Wire: Brian Stultz Rival SEC baseball atmospheres prove Auburn is lagging far behind If you’ve been watching the NCAA Baseball Tournament during the past week, you’ve noticed quite amazing atmospheres from Starkville to Fayetteville and many other places in the SEC. It made me jealous. Not because these SEC teams were winning, in fact the complete opposite. I’m rooting for them. Yet what made me jealous was the fact that these baseball stadiums — Dudy Noble, Baum-Walker, Lindsey Nelson — are much better than Auburn has ever had and, possibly, ever imagined of having. Let that sink in. The scenes have been phenomenal. The crowd? Noisy as possible. Heck, Mississippi State set a Super Regional record with 14,385 fans on Saturday. And what do we have at Auburn? It’s rarely filled to the 4,096 capacity that Plainsman Park holds. We have the three or four guys in that one section along the third-base line that continue yelling things that are as funny as the latest Adam Sandler movie. Oh, and that parking deck. Yes, we have the parking deck full of people drinking but too far away — and disinterested in the game — to make any impact on the home-field advantage. Heck, we don’t even have outfield seating. I’ve seen some people on Twitter mention putting seats on top of the left-field wall and, yes, that would be a great start but when you see 4,000 people (again, more than we average at a game) in the outfield at an Ole Miss game throwing beer in the air after a home run, the Plainsman Park atmosphere looks like a Jefferson-Pilot noon game at Vanderbilt. It’s not like the Tigers haven’t won. Taking this year out of the equation, the Butch Thompson era has brought back some glory to the program with a trip to the Super Regionals in 2018 and to Omaha for the College World Series in 2019. We’ve seen the Auburn fan base turn Jane B. Moore Field into a true home-field advantage. Auburn Arena has become one of the most intimidating environments in college basketball. So what is lacking for Auburn baseball? Why have SEC stadiums at Ole Miss, Mississippi State and elsewhere become so much wild while Plainsman Park resembles a 9 a.m. World History lecture in Haley Center? I don’t have all the answers but I can suggest some. Build a section beyond the right-field wall that allows students to bring coolers with their beverages of choice where they can also see the game. It worked to a degree with K Corner but … well … students tend to be more rowdy than alumni in their 50’s. Make the game more of an experience than it is right now. Besides baseball, what is the really attraction of going to Plainsman Park right now? It’s not for a great atmosphere that you witness across the street at Jordan-Hare Stadium or Auburn Arena. Of course, this might also just come down to fan indifference. Are Auburn fans truly bought into baseball? Do they even care if the Tigers succeed or not? It’s been some time since the program put out a successful winner consistently but the same can be true for many other sports that are better supported on campus. Granted, it is hard to compare a regular season series to a Super Regional but, when it comes to attendance, the stadiums are full to almost full in other places where the Tigers are lucky to play in front of 2,000. Yes, watching the NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals have made me extremely jealous of the environments that other SEC teams enjoy and use to their advantage. There’s no reason Auburn can’t make Plainsman Park an atmosphere to fear.
