May be a bit of a "stretch" for Johnson to make much of an impact in SEC at the "4". It's a long ways from UAH. Hopefully our coaches can get him ready. We need another "big". Just not sure CJ can fill that role right now.. I sure hope I'm very wrong.

I wonder if the Alexander kid might get a few minutes. His grandfather was one of our all-time best centers. That was a different era of course. He was probably only 6'-6 or 6'-7.

Do you have any thoughts about who they might be looking at. I also feel like we need another big. An injury to one of the three bigs would make us very small.

Does anyone know if our Lead '24 recruiter WW will be visiting unofficially on June 16? So many of the guys he is actively recruiting will be in Auburn for their OV that day. Looks like it could shape up to be a huge weekend. WDE!!

I think we would all be shocked if the kid had any interest in Auburn but hope I'm wrong. I would expect him to OV at Duke, Kansas, UNC, UConn, and maybe Gonzaga and a couple more.

If Lowe was pitching early in SEC play as she did the last couple of weeks we would have won a few more Saturday games. We do need another lefty pitcher (freshman or portal). Hitting was terrible against opponents ace. Dean certainly could use a couple of solid lefty bats. And we do seem to have a couple of weak spots defensively, although I didn't watch enough games to say for sure. Despite these fixable issues our girls should be one of the top teams in SEC again, if we don't lose out to the portal. Not many 3rd place finishers fire their HC.

I thought I heard there was another big or two that we might look at if Broome leaves. Hope it doesn't come to that. I agree that CBM should be a solid replacement for Lawrence. I don't know why, but I was never that excited about about him. CBP has to be on pins and needles about Broome, especially at this late date.

After the transfers sign when can they report to campus? At start of 1st or 2nd summer session? Is that when they officially go on scholarship?

Don't misunderstand me. I'm glad to have Payton Thorne. But has he been at Auburn before and I just missed it? I thought the unwritten rule was must have visited Auburn before commitment. But times are changing. That's for sure. WDE!!

I don't think Aden is 6'-2 but he is still several inches taller than Wendell who is maybe 5'-9 1/2. Who knows? AH may still be growing.

Kid is only 16. I don't know how he can even be that big? I think he has some time to be SEC ready.

Are we waiting until Thorne graduates. Is that this week? He must be No.1 choice right now or Thompson would likely have said something by now, like AU is leading but he has a couple more visits. Or CT could have been disappointed if he wasn't pretty much guaranteed the starting job. Who knows? Most of us think either one of them would easily win the job if they are 100% healthy without a guarantee. Hopefully we'll know by end of the week.

I'd like to see him and Faulk both in there in certain situation, if they are as good as we hope and think. They are very different but would complement each other well.
