Side note, all jet flights are still "easily trackable" - just because FlightAware lets owners hide their aircraft on that platform doesn't make the data any less public domain, hell even Elon Musk can't hide his flights and it drives him nuts. But yes, seeing a flight from airport A to airport B means absolutely zilch about who's on board though.

Emotion plays a much larger part than most people think. For example the same argument could be applied to the entire concept of momentum in a game but I think most would agree that is a thing that exists based on emotion/mood. "If the defense gets a turnover and it sparks the offense, maybe you should have gone to a G5 school."

Too many people here look at this through the eyes of a 40-50-60-something year old man (because they are). Through the eyes of a 18-22 year old kid, strutting out for a marquee game wearing a uniform that's never been worn before could be motivating as hell. If we do it, I'd hope the players are pumped up about it. If the players couldn't care less, I would hate for the program to bring that attention to them. But I'd bet a six pack they would be excited about it.

Right but I meant Vandy may still be paying him. Using easy numbers to make an example, if Vandy owed him $2M a year for x years and we were paying him $1.5M, Vandy would pick up the remaining $0.5M. If he goes to OSU and only makes $1M, then Vandy has to pick up the remaining $1M so it’s no different for him. No idea what his buyout was from Vandy or if it would ever work like that, just a theory I was bouncing around in my head.

So in this case he could be getting the exact same amount in the end, with Vandy picking up the difference?
