  1. I agree but as @Cardin Drake says it only helps your draft stock if you show you can hit them, right? He is at 19% rn and the trend is 0 for his last 15. Back him up another few feet at NBA range.... At the end of the day, I trust BP.
  2. Thanks form posting this!!!! So happy for him!!!
  3. No doubt. I love the willingness to mock Saban's self obsessed and too important persona.
  4. "Low maintenance, high output" "I don't have security, state troopers, I'm just common" "Seeing this makes me love you more" "yes sir, yes sir, yes sir". WDE Perry Thompson!!!!!!
  5. LSU is a very interesting program. Each of the last 3 coaches -- even coach O- won a natty. Kelly had the best player in college football and still managed to lose 3 games. At ND he made it to the playoffs/NCG 3 times and laid an egg each time. He is now 62 years of age. I would be fine with him spending the next 10 years at LSU. We don't need LSU to hire an elite coach.
  6. If you haven't taken a few minutes to watch AW's HUDL tape stop what you are doing and watch it NOW!!! Good gracious. This kid running the football shows what a freak athlete he is. Enjoy...
  7. The App State game was so odd... After it, App State continued on a little run where they beat their next 3 teams (one by over 60 points) and then lost to UNC Asheville by 13 -- a team we beat by 25....
  8. I love how hard JB plays on both ends of the court and how he has improved his FT shooting. But, does there ever come a point when he should be told he is no longer allowed to take a 3? It has been 8 games since he has made a 3. He has attempted at least 1 in every one of the 8 games and is 0 for his last 15. Obviously, when he takes a 3 he is only able to rebound the ball if it takes a long bounce. And, I assume since he is attempting them in games, he is working on them at practice. It seems that practice time might be better spent working on his inside scoring game. Just my $.02.
  9. I doubt @StatTiger has the time or desire to do it, but it would be interesting to see how many times in big games Gus jumped out to a nice lead only to falter down the stretch and how that compares to top tier coaches. FSU will forever haunt us... I seem to recall Saban once having a huge lead at home in a rivalry game only to lay an egg. Some here might recall and post the actual circumstances of that....
  10. AU93, I appreciate your kind words. Many folks on here have been beat down by our prior failures. Others were disappointed that we were willing to give a fallen man a second chance. We all share a common bond of loving Auburn and should all come together and agree it is a new day. Let's stop any and all negative thoughts and recognize we have been here before and we are there again. This is just the beginning.... WDE!!!!
  11. What is the answer to so many questions? $$$$
  12. Yep, to a large degree. But, the backups will be getting more physical reps these 2 weeks, all of next spring and next fall. I get it isn't the same as game day experience, but they also aren't sitting on the couch eating chocolate either. Also, if you look at CHF's recruitment of WW, he believes there is a good chance that that young man is the future. Maybe 2 5 star and 2 4 star receivers see the same thing.
  13. I believe CHF saw real physical potential in Robby. He was a two sport athlete at Hoover. Others saw potential in him too hence Oregon giving him a scholarship. But playing the most important position on the field, particularly at this level, requires more than great physical attributes. Based on my limited knowledge of RA, he still has a bit of maturing yet to do. There were several times this past season where RA should have handled internal issues differently. CHF provided enough opportunities to prove to himself that it was best for both parties to go in a different direction. RA saw it the same way. These types of cases are where the portal works for everyone -- we get a freed up scholly, Robby gets a third chance.
  14. You may be wrong but you may be right. We will see in a few days.
  15. This 1000%. We were fortunate to be there and to get back to our hotel around 2 for a 6 o'clock flight. In large part because of Asante's play, just a few hours sleep didn't feel too bad...
  16. The bigger question IMO is how many of those 6 throws were quality throws by Thorne? I hope we can all agree that UGA is a pretty good ball club. The narrative some have put out here is Thorne was only good against bad teams and against better teams he was really, really bad. Against UGA Thorne had just 19 attempts. 10 were completions. I think we can all agree than most any completion is a quality throw. So let's focus on the 6 that hit the receiver's hands. How many of them were quality throws recognizing that good teams sometimes turn quality throws into incompletions. Even WED agrees that 3 were flat out drops. So, without drops Thorne should have been 13 of 19. That is 68% against the number 1 team in the country. Of the other 3, how many were quality throws that could/should have been completed. If it is just 1, then Thorne is at 74%. 74% against the number 1 team in the country isn't really really bad. As info Milroe, the only QB to beat UGA, was 13 of 23 i.e. 56%.
  17. I'm a little surprised LJ is flying his bride in a G280 -- Honeywells are fine but the G700 with Rolls Royce powerplants are more fit for a king and a queen. We have several pilots here who can weigh in on this critically important first world concern.
  18. I didn't notice if she was cute or not 😀
  19. This team has SO many players that are fun to watch and easy to pull for. Tre at the end of last year and most of this year looks like a legit all conference point. Dylan = Auburn spirit and heart. Johni -even when he doesn't shoot it well he is defending like crazy. Jaylin = at times smoother than silk and lord he can guard. Aden at the end of both of our last halves = assassin. CMO - doesn't do much offensively but good gracious he battles on D. KD- crazy wild but he is our crazy wild. Denver -- huge 3 today when USC was trying to get back in it and he plays tough, tough D. But y'all my fast becoming fav is CBM. BP mentioned it in post game -- he got 3 shots today but good gracious he played lime crazy. He doesn't complain "I only got 3 shots" no sir he celebrates like a mad man when Dylan throws one down. CBM is so long. It looks like he can D up anybody out there. He had several very nice offensive rebounds it seems. Anywho shout out to a team player like CBM. I'm glad he is a Tiger!!!
  20. Before this weekend, we felt good. FSU moved the needle this weekend. It would have been great to have him at the basketball game today. @bigbird has a better feel for our backend (pun intended) but we are going to be better than okay there IMO. Improving up front makes them better also.
  21. It was better than a dub Mav, it was an inverted photo of a Russian Mig pilot being shot the middle finger!!!
