    It would be great to watch our guys challenge DBs for the catch on those 50/50 balls. We had one drive against MD where it looked like receivers WANTED the ball. To me, that’s been the difference in our receivers. They had a lot of drops this year that looked like other teams were consistently making. I’m not a receiver so I’m talking from the couch perspective. But in my experience, attitude and want to can be seen in performance.

    This was an issue. The fundamentals CBH mentioned in the interview can be fixed. It looks like it’s a confidence thing that once something doesn’t work he gets in his own head.

    Winner!! I seem to remember a fairly decent RB that didn’t want to play LB for another team. Worked out pretty well for AU.

    I’m sorry if this has been stated. However, this portion of the OP’s “They shouldn’t be calling ridiculous play…” renders the entire title of this thread false. Gus called more ridiculous plays than anyone.

    I understand what you’re saying but is Cincy’s strength of schedule anything close to what AU played in ‘04? I ask because that is supposed to be one of the deterring factors.
