Im going 8-4. but the best looking, most scariest 8-4 team in CFB. I think we lose to UGA but punch them in the mouth a little in our stadium. Probably a 33-20 type of game with UGA scoring late to make it appear woirse. I think we win one of LSU and Bama. Don't know which. I think we split Tamu, Arky, Ole Miss and MSST. We will be competitve in every game, but it will be clear that our roster is just not deep enough yet for a run. We will scare people though for next year.

Late to the party so some good ones already stated..... MMW- Auburn will have a TRFr and a Tramsfer earn at worst 2nd team All SEC honors on Defense. MMW- Auburn will lead the nation in KR and PR yards. MMW- Auburn will have the best kicker in the league who will miss an easy one early but then bat a thousand throughout the rest of the season MMW- There will be no QB controversy. Thorne will have some growing pains similar to Stidham in 2017 but by week 3 or 4 will look like one of top QBs in the SEC As for the rest of the SEC- MMW- Bama will lose 3 games MMW UGA will not 3peat. USCe and UTk knock them off. Aggies have a 500 season Ole Miss wins 8 games but get slaughtered by AU No West team has fewer than 2 losses.

I think whether we go 6-6 or 9-3 all hinges om the DL. I just don't know if we have the depth or the star pieces on the DL. I think LB will be MUCH imrpved with the transfers as well as guys already here. Backend is going to be nasty and hopefully will help our DL

Substantial Muscle gains....check tall physical specimens at WR....check Fairweather ......check QB completed 3 passes against air.......check revamped OL.......check Coach Head Coach Brother High Freeze.....check Coach Zac and Caddy........check incoming..........SEC and Natioinal Champioinship!!!!

Yea just wasn't sure due to wording he used...."lost one recrtuit.." We didn't really lose the ones that never were committed so it is confusing. Maybe he was referring to Sorey as someone else said.

I do expect him to pick up some steam in the offer category which can in turn raise his ranking. Anybody watch his Jr Tape? Kid is legit good.

LMAO I just saw this for the very first time 3 days ago and I have laughed at the beginning so much for 3 days then come here and BOOM!

I knew we upgraded at every position we brought in from portal, but that definitely puts it into a different perspective. I'm going to be honest guys, I think we are going to have a very good OL. IT may take a few games to really start gelling, but the joes are there IMO. I think we will have a roadgrading type OL for the first time really since 2013 but Ill give the 2017 line the nod they were pretty good. My worries are on WR, LB and depth at S and DL albeit not nearly as worried at DL as the rest of the groups. I think we have definitely done a lot to bring up the WR room. I think Shorter will be the real deal. I am just not sold on Mardner. I honestly don't think he will start, at least not the whole season. Burton is loads of discernible potential, but at this point that is all I can all it. I think all and all better than what we had w exception of maybe Javy J and C. Brown's potential but time will tell. As for LB, I feel 100% better than I did, but again, it's just knd of an unknown. I like the Keys addition and he will no doubt be a valuable asset for us this season. Nixon was a huge addition. I actually just remembered us picking him up last week as I was typing the previous sentence so I feel even better now! (kind of like finding a $20 bill tucked in the back of your wallet you forgot you had!) Safety and WR are my two biggest concerns left on the board. Puckett has not lived to what I thought he would be. I think he could be a stud in a S/LB hybrid type of position. Simpson I am a huge fan of, but not sure what the pieces behind them look like.

Absolutely ^^^^^^^^^^^This times 1000. I have been watching some of his games and of course his highlight tapes. I think he will have a big impact for us. He is not just a situational scat type back. Yes he is small, but he actually fits what I believe HF and PM want to do. In the HL Vid below, I think his best runs are the 2-3 are the one at 2:23ish mark. He shows his acceleration and burst off in this play and just hits the hole with authority. His next play he shows that he is physical. Makes a nice run and then punishes the safety when he attempted to tackle him. I like that alot! Then the next run is my favorite on the clip (2:39) Shows excellent vision and cutting ability. This kid is legit. It's a shame he isn't 5'10 200 lbs he would have NFL potential w his skillset IMHO

I was wondering if maybe it had to do with that, or the possibility of the looming investigation about the recorded "team chemistry exercise" and possible suspensions. I wonder if maybe the staff got wind of good news regarding that? edit- I do not like how it played out though regardless of reason

Wouldn't have made a difference at all. That is why I have always hated and always will hate Preseason polls. Polls shouldnt come out until at the very earliest Week 5. USC and Choklahoma started 1 and 2 and nobody was going to bump them down as long as they win. This is common especially if it is a blueblood program.
