mcgufcm 4,107 Posted November 19, 2004 Share Posted November 19, 2004 all you need to see to know that poll is crap: adrian peterson is receiving 60% of the vote. wow. just, wow. those people have no idea. he's not even the best running back in his conference (may not be in his state). it's a maurice clarrett situation. the media jumped all over him b/c they wanted a story. now, they're too invested to pull out and see the light of day. just like clarrett in 02, peterson isn't even the best freshman back in the nation! (ta mclendon was better in 02, hart from michigan is better now). too bad folks don't realize that, but it's true and it'll prove out over time.
