Only 5 SEC teams have gone undefeated since 1970 (including their Bowl Game):

1979 BAMA

1980 UGA

1992 BAMA

1993 AUBURN (but, no bowl game b/c of probation)

1998 TENN

If Auburn wins the Sugar Bowl, Auburn will have had one of the FIVE BEST seasons in the SEC in the last 3 1/2 decades but will not play for the MNC.
