I saw both interviews. The guy was asked by the CIA to administer the program and his response was he didn't want to do it but did it as a call to duty. He didn't like doing it. Its not like the guy was a mad scientist who enjoyed using the EITs that he developed. The thing that keeps coming back is that if those subjected to the questioning are able to get up and walk away when its done..its not torture. I can accept that under the circumstances this all happened. There was tremendous pressure on the CIA because they were afraid of a 2nd wave of attacks.

Why this has rankled so many on the left, so badly, this many years later is very reminiscent of their reaction to the Iraq War that virtually ALL of them voted for but then acted like it was a mistake all along. Its called politics.
