cammycam2 173
Myron burton played really well. Made a beautiful catch over a DB's head. Probably the best reciever on the day. Roc seems to be the best back to me. We are not in a QB battle. Defense needs more time to unify and become one solid unit. This has been cammycam's take. Enjoy. Haha Myron burton will be starter come game time, opposite of duke of coarse. And bama looks slow, hope they lose every game they play! Is Myron a Tony Stevens lanky type guy or is he more built like Sammie? he looked pretty big-bodied. i would say he is more like duke than stevens or coates. douggwilliams 61
Ricardo got up on that ball. That may be a go to later in the year if the QB's in trouble.

auburn4ever 1,266
Was that a big white sign in the upper part in one of the endzones? I saw on the replay but couldn't make it out real well.
aucanucktiger 1,805
Man oh man has A-Day ever changed into a major production. Love it! The highlights of A-Day my freshman year ('81) was not having to wait in line to meet 1st year coach Pat Dye, the Ken Hobby/Randy Campbell QB "battle" and free Golden Flake chips! Barnacle 9,064
Jeremy Johnson ... via @FootballAU What in heck is Jeremy looking at? He's looking at the ball. A lot of quarterbacks after marking their target will set their eyes on their release point during the throw. When I was in high school they tried to teach us to never take your eyes off the target, but its habitual like most mechanics. Also, the angle of this picture, and the fact that he's clearly throwing the ball deep make it hard to tell if that's the case at all. He may be looking at the target, its just hard to keep your head level and pointed at the receiver when you are having to tilt your entire body to throw a deep ball. Here is a picture of Drew Brees throwing deep as an example:
