I think Alabama would have fared much worse in a field of all 120+ D1 teams. As an Auburn dirt-road alum, this pretty much illustrates why I wear orange and blue on Saturdays. One of the elite academic institutions in the U.S., and only Stanford grads would be in their fan base posting. As for Bama, we all know that they still can't spell Auburn.
