One of my favorites...all the way around.

TBH, would've "loved" it without the fluffy backstory?

Thanks!

Really, really liked that song, but

You might've mentioned but I hadn't heard that. Holy crap. That is incredible. Did you get to party with them at all? Was Bill Murray as cool as people say he is and was Chevy Chase as big of an arse as people say he is? Did you go skinnyskiing on acid?

Murray was great and loves golf. Chevy didn't hang around so much

Have you seen Lost in Translation? There's a scene where he steps up to the tee on a hole where the fairway goes straight towards Mt. Fuji in the background. He just crushes the ball. Beautiful drive. They say he did it in one take.

PS- My golfing career consists of exactly 1 summer so I sound like an idiot when I try to use the lingo. Apologies.

He was doin' funky music [yeah]
Singin' and playin' guitar

Keep playin' that rock and roll
Keep doin' what you been told

Not much he didn't play golf and is paranoid as hell

Paranoid is a part of drunk/high from what i understand.

My wife lived in Fort Walton the summer Jaws II was filmed at Navarre. We had just met and spent a lot of time nosing around the set up. Nothing in Navarre then other than the Holiday Inn with cast and the mechanical shark plus props. Did talk to Roy Scheider a few times. Arrogant but ok. Wore a black speedo and smoked long Salem cigarettes

He was drunk/high most of time

People in the comedy business, ironically, hold him in extremely high regard. Evidently he helped a ton of comics get their careers going. Which is no way precluded by him being drunk/high most of the time lol.
