@Tiger Refuge, I was never really into Pearl Jam but this and Alive are probably the top two of a handful of their songs I like

Dolores O’riordan died today. She was the lead singer for the Cranberries. I wasn’t a huge fan or anything but I did like most of their ‘90s radio hits.

We hardly knew ye

IKR?!?!

Actually, I need to go back to a ball in that area again sometime. Only went to one, it was a freaking blast.

Thought about you the other day, btw. Saw Avenue Pub's Mardi Gras schedule. About as ridiculous as you'd expect. One day is a tap takeover of Great Raft and someone else... can't remember. Anywho...

Speaking of Mardi Gras, hopefully we'll see some quality jazz posts on here in the next month.

Claimed to be them. Wasn't familiar enough to call'em out on it. Not the best dance band we've ever booked, and we're not reaching out for big names of late.

This is potentially one of the more interesting stories told on this site.

Actually the best dance band we've put on the main stage was Delbert Mclinton (sp? and another I was unfamiliar with at the time).Of late, we've been mostly booking local/regional bands with "funk" in their name. We also had Wet Willie, but that was on one of the side stages and back before they were a name.

My wife likes him even more than I do, which makes me like her even more than I initially did.

I really, really hope this is taken as intended.

I cannot fault either of you for taste.

I believe that I have taken it as intended, and I most certainly have not taken it in anyway negative. And thank you!

Jason Isbell tonight in Birmingham at the Alabama theater. Wife and I decided on a last minute trip and just like the first time we saw him, another memorable set of music.

@McLoofus unfortunately, no Amanda Shires ☹️
