Martin sets down Texas State.  Auburn coming to bat in the bottom 5th.   Draper, Wallace and Cooper due up.

This is a pretty decent team.  They're 13-3, and have given up only 16 runs in 16 games.  Beat Texas and Texas Tech, lost to BYU and Abilene Christian (twice).  BYU the only team to score more than 3 runs on them.

Coop didn't hit the good part of the bat on that on just a few feet short.

Haley lays one into the RF corner for an RBI triple.

Fagan first pitch, lines it to the right side and Fornis (pinch running for Wallace) comes around to score and Fagan ends up at third with a triple.   That's a 17 game hitting streak for Fagan.   Veach up.  Game tied 1-1

Veach grounds to 3rd to end the inning, but Auburn plates a run and pulls even 1-1 going to the 6th.

well that's better but sounds like the first team to score from on will win the game...both pitchers seem to be in control of the game.

2 quick outs for Martin... make that 3....   Shea, Rivera and Podany coming up.  Let's get a run or two here.

game tracker says Shea hit by a pitch, but the announcers are mentioning crocker all the time during the at bat.

Wow, the home plate ump just took a ball to the arm and it looks like his arm is broken. This will be a long break as they move one of the field umps to behind the plate.

Apparently the home plate umpire has been injured after a deflection on a pitch or something similar.  Jared can you offer a better explanation since you are there?

Looks like the home plate umpire may be finished as the other umpires have left the field according to the radio guys.
