Documentary film / history lover? Two good recommendations.

I could have posted this in the ATC forum, but the subject for each is inherently political.

(FWIW, I checked these out at our public library for free.   Don't know if they are available any other way.)

1.  She's Beautiful When She's Angry

A good review of the women's rights movement from the perspective of the women making it happen.  A great history for every young person to know- especially women.  (Can't say that many boomers didn't make a difference!)    Must viewing for any younger females in your family.  (It's also a great insight into the 60's, which seems to be coming around again.)

2. The Internet's Own Boy

Fascinating and very educational/illuminating (at least for me) history of the early internet and the politics that ultimately tried to control it. (And if you are an Obama hater, here's a disgraceful DOJ case that occurred on his watch.)

Anyone who uses the internet should be leery of government/(corporate) control of what should be publicly available information.  Aaron Swartz was an American hero even if most of us don't know who he is, or really understand why.
