I mean it doesn't seem like things could get much worse rn regardless of who the QB is. I guess if TJ throws multiple interceptions, but losses are losses. I'm sick for Bo, but if it's true, we all need to get behind the next guy and at least give him a chance

And why not? We gave Gus s*** for leaving in Sean White when he was injured. Bo was clearly in pain, limping, couldn't put any pressure on his foot. The coaches and medical staff still kept him in the game and had him do multiple rollouts. Bad decision by the coaches and medical to leave him in the game while in pain.

How many times have u seen a Qb walking around limping in a game and fighting thru the pain?

who cares what Gus did. this is Harsin’s team and Bo plays tough, period.

I don’t recall anyway what type of injury SW was dealing with.

I was at an early Thanksgiving at the in laws, so I had no alcohol nor ability to watch the game. I recorded the game and will watch it tomorrow, but I know now why my better half looks at me sideways during games sometimes. After reading 3 different threads, AU doesn't need any of the coaches we have, nor doctors or nurses on the sidelines. We only need this the people at AU family to recruit, coach, and diagnose injuries!! 😄😅

I'm sure after I watch the replay, I'll be one of the assistant coaches!

You are definitely going to need alcohol for the replay.

Depending on the severity of the break they likely wouldn’t have been able to diagnose it at the time.

Ding ding ding. Only thing they would have to go by is mobility and pain level. If player can tough it out and play through it they can't tell till X-rays. We don't know what went down.

This. I'm so sick of people acting like Nix is anywhere near the top of our problems.

I know.

in that first half he was spot on.

our problems were 3 things.

1. no running game again when u need a little pressure off of passing game.
2. poor special teams play again. No way a 35 yd FG SHOULD have been blocked.
3. no pass rush or enough pressure to make Rogers throw early or off balance.

when u allow only 3-4 incompletions and over 30 completions from the end of 1st half until end of 4th then we’re not going to win that game.

I can tell you a fact Finley will go in over DD, but the fact that we haven’t and likely won’t take adv of the modern redshirt rule on top of not giving a different QB look in late in either the A&M game or this game after the guy got hurt…the goodwill Harsin has had with handling QBs in the first half is gone for me

There isn’t a whole lot to complain about Bo in today’s game.  It was one of his better games tbh.

Definitely his most accurate passing game. Especially first half he had time and delivered dimes. Not sure exactly when the injury was, but accuracy was different second half. He had more pressure, or maybe the injury but the accuracy was noticeably different. The injury would explain a lot!!  Say what you want about Bo. Everybody has an opinion. Mine is, he is our QB. I want him to continue to improve and succeed. Regardless, He is tough!!  That I bet everyone can agree on?

I broke my foot in a boating accident and didn’t find out until about a week later. I would think it’d be more of a case of Bo not telling the coaches how badly it hurt or adrenaline was masking his pain.

We've had more than one patient wait several days before realizing that something more might be going on. When they finally came in to have it checked out.....broken bones. One or two of them required surgery.

Shameful response. I don't know anyone on here personally. I know we all have our different opinions, but I'm pretty confident that most folks would never wish injury on any player, regardless of their opinions of that players play

Not really. Just bringing to light how part of the forum has been quick to point at Bo when things go wrong and keep calling for him to be pulled. I can't say much positive about the coaching staff after today, however I'm sure they are doing better than most critics posting in here could have done....

I have had (6) bone fractures confirmed by x-ray. Some of them I knew immediately that something was very wrong, others, I was vowing to the medical personnel that it was only a sprain or a laceration until they showed me the x-ray and proved me wrong. It depends on the type of fracture and where it is.

This is so true. And some people tolerate pain better than others.

No one should question Bo's toughness, plus regardless, I never want to see anyone injured for any team...these kids put in a ton of time to perform on the field, so never want to see anyone hurt..

Sometimes a sprain takes longer to heal than a break and it can become a nagging injury....

Truth. When I was in high school I severely sprained my ankle and damaged ligaments. The doctors said it would have been better if I broke it.

I mean that's common sense. The coaches are paid millions and these players get full scholarships and are treated very well for the most part. I don't see the issue with criticism on fan forums. Of course they do a better job than any of us could. We are not the standard though. The fellow programs and coaches are

Wouldn't be the first time Bo has downplayed injury because he wanted to be in the game. Bobo can't make that call from the booth. He's trusting what's being said by Bo and the training staff. There's a lot we don't know.

I will just say this is about as lame ass post that I've ever seen on this forum. Whatever maroon. Every one in the stadium watched him limp.

As I said in post game. There's a LOT we didn't and still don't know. You know what they say about assumptions.

Same for me other than the high school part. I didn't have full range of motion for several months.

never broke my ankle but ive sprained it bad enough that it took 4 months to not feel it anymore.  Played 18 holes the next day for my company after the sprain  and drove my stick shift daily with the ankle so i could never give it a rest.  (i think that is why it took so long to heal)
