Not necessarily. We landed McLoud so getting a 2nd edge isn't dire, especially if he's not an impoact pass rusher.

All I said is it would be understandable with it being a finals week, that a target delay their decision til after his finals are over. I know if I was starting finals & hadn't made a decision where to transfer, it wouldn't even be on my back burner. It would be off the stove til I took my last final.

Right,  but you would agree majority of players do NOT do this, particularly if they are a 3.5 GPA student. It is totally okay to say something is amiss and not try to double down if we get him cool. If not, that is also cool, but rationalizing without considering the other side of the discussion causes major conflict.

It's probably a long shot, but WR Jordan Hudson/TCU supposedly visited AU in late April and has not yet committed.  He's a worthy target with multiple years of eligibility.  Maybe Thorne helps our case with him.

Seems really odd too considering he's just finishing up his 2nd semester. He just fail all his 100 level classes? He only needs to take like 9hrs too
