quietfan 233
I'll admit up front, I don't know the whole story... But "sitting out" one game (Tenn) in which you would have never played anyway because the starters barely managed to pull out a win doesn't seem like much punishment to me (maybe that's just me): http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/birmingh...7520.xml&coll=2 By the time Croyle trudged to the Alabama locker room for the quick stitching, backup John Parker Wilson had his helmet on and directions to go. ``I was ready to get my helmet on when he got hit," said Wilson, a freshman from Hoover High. The action was the first for Wilson since the Oct. 1 game, when Wilson saw late, mop-up duty against Florida. His return to action signaled the end to an apparent one-game suspension after being charged with DUI by a minor Oct. 16. The 20-year-old Wilson faces a Nov. 4 hearing at Northport Municipal Court. "I really don't want to talk about it," Wilson said Saturday. Coach Mike Shula never confirmed penalties against Wilson resulting from the legal run-in. But Wilson spent the week of the Oct. 22 Tennessee game working with the scout team instead of the Tide offense. ``His attitude's fine," Shula said. ``He feels bad about what transpired." TigerGlide 1
I'll trust Shula's judgement, he knows the whole story.
