Each season, I rank our teams based on the following categories.

Offense:

1) Number of 30 pt games

2) Number of 200 yd rushing games

3) Number of 200 yd passing games

4) Number of 400 yd total offense games

5) Number of 200 rushing and 200 passing during the same game.

Defense:

1) Number of 13 pt or less games

2) Number of under 100 yds rushing games

3) Number of under 200 yds passing games

4) Number of under 300 yd total games

5) Number of under 100 rushing and under 200 passing during the same game.

I total up the numbers and divide by the total number of games played. I do realize that strength of schedule is not factored in this particular equation but it makes for good conversation.
