I have been to tons and tons of games and I always see opposing fans enjoying some cajun cooking with LSU fans.230243[/snapback] Let me say that both times I have been to LSU it was with the Auburn band. Nowhere, repeat NO-WHERE that the band goes are they treated worse than to LSU. Nowhere were there more people flipping the band off on the sides of the road, including all ages from toddlers through senior citizens. Nowhere were there more vulgarities screamed at the band. Nowhere were there more attempts to intimidate the band. Nowhere were fans more rude to the band in the stands and around the stadium. Nowhere was a full police escort of at least 20 Lousiana officers necessary to get the band into and out of the stadium. Nowhere else does the band have to get INTO the stadium a full 3 hours before kick off for safety reasons (band usually goes in after Tiger Walk). Nowere else are more drinks and other objects thrown into the band from the seats above and behind. Nowhere do more people confront kids in band uniforms and staff in coat and tie. Nowhere do more people try to walk through or sit in a the band section where the band members are already packed in like sardines. Nowhere else do band members have to have police escorts to go to the restroom or to the PARAMEDICS. But what do I know, I've only been there twice. I'm probably making up stories. I'm sure it was just one or two obnoxious fans ruining it for everybody, as the LSU administration has repeatedly stated in their frequent letters to other institutions. I will say this, however. Louisiana law enforcement are top notch and they always go above and beyond to help the Auburn band out. I'm sure that they do this every week, so they get plenty of practice. Not my fault you guys have an inferioty complex yet haven't won a National Championship since Jesus was walking the earth. 230243[/snapback] This coming from the fanbase that still cries about cigars?
