Who do you all think will get named to this season's All SEC Team? Some LSU players who will likely be All SEC:

Offense: JaMarcus Russell, Alley Broussard, Dwayne Bowe

Defense: Laron Landry

What do yall think?

JaMarcus Russell might not even be all-LSU.

There will be at least one LSU offensive and defensive lineman on the first team.

Dewayne Bowe, I agree with. Broussard also, if he remains healthy (shouldn't that go without saying?)

Laron should be given a certificate (or whatever they get) now.

As far as Auburn goes, I don't care. I just want some team accolades. I have individuality.

Russell won't make it. Matt Flynn will take his spot this Fall... just a prediction.

D-Bowe will definitely make it along w/ Landry. Broussard will not. McFadden, Irons, and Darby are all in the same division as Broussard and are all better than him IMO.

No, No, Maybe, Maybe.

Some stronger possibilities than those:

Kenny Irons, Ken Darby, the Arkansas running back whose name I can't remember.

Brandon Cox.

Courtney Taylor, some receiver from SC

Will Herring, David Irons.

Auburn possibilities:

QB - Brandon Cox

RB - Kenny Irons

WR - Courtney Taylor

OL - Ben Grubbs, Jonathan Palmer

CB - David Irons

LB - Will Herring

Anyone else on Defense would be purely speculation right now, but there could be a couple based on the history of Muschamp's defenses.

I agree... especially with Kody Bliss. He has been one of the most consistent punters that AU has had in a while.

Oops, I did forget Bliss. He should be 1st team All-SEC at worst this year. Two Guards will not make it though and I thing Grubbs will be the one. Gunn could be one of the surprises, but Groves would have a better shot than Gunn IMO.

QB's: I'd expect to see Chris Leak or Brandon Cox before JeMarcus Russell. I'm not that familiar with other SEC QB's, but any QB coached by Spurrier has to be considered a threat.

RB's: Kenny Irons, McFadden neck and neck for #1/#2. I'd put Darby ahead of Broussard at #3 on talent, but Broussard will have the stronger supporting cast, which will help him.

Sorry, LSU08--not trying to flame, just my honest opinion.

No doubt Groves has the ability - in fact, I'd actually put him in my list, then deleted. I'm quietly confident that he'll have a breakout year this year. But then I said the same thing last year . . . Not that Groves had a bad year; I just thought Gunn was more productive.

Didn't Gunn make some all-conference teams last year? And didn't Duckworth, come to think of it?

I'm tired, dude. I could barely come up with David Irons. I can't be expected to remember the nameless, faceless players from other teams.
