WarTiger 3,914
Could this poll possibly be more credible than any of the others???? I think so.... Check it out..... A former coach at UGA, Auburn, and UAT participate in the voting....thoughts??? Master Coaches Survey
WinCrimson 61
Only time will tell. Most of these polls are similar anyway. (ie Bama 25th in Coaches, "26th" in AP; Auburn 4th in both polls, etc.) I personally think there are way too many polls for us to gah gah over and faithfully check every Sunday afternoon. WarTiger 3,914
Well, they are waiting till the third weekend of the season to release their first poll....
WinCrimson 61
That's a step in the right direction. Preseason polls are bunk. Many teams are exposed as frauds/surprises by the end of September (see 00 Bama and 03 Auburn).

abrnfanatc 6
Pat Dye was on the JOX Opening Drive this morning talking about that poll. In theory, it sounds like possibly the most thorough poll there is. He says there are former great coaches like Bo Shembeckler(sp), himself, Tom Osborne, etc. from all over the country. They assign a game to each former coach (not their former team) and they review it in complete depth. Then they get together for a conference call to discuss all games before they each vote.
