AURaptor 1,126
For the first time in its history, there isn't a single GOP that the paper supports. Here in ATL, the AJC was only slightly less biased. The editorial board did back a few Republicans, in minor state offices, but inexplicably picked Mark Taylor over Sonny Purdue, despite Sonny's phenominal 1st term in office. I laugh at those who say the media isn't biased. I worry about the sanity of those who say the media supports the Right wing more.

Tiger in Spain 0
I was listening to CBS radio driving into work this morning and Bob Schieffer was so excited about the upcoming "change" that you could almost hear him abusing himself in the background. The days of the print media are over. The national network news isn't that far behind. Good riddance!
LegalEagle 22
It's a shame the Republicans have so destroyed trust in government that even a big newspaper can't find a reason to elect even one Republican. It you care at all about this country, kick those ba****ds out of power. We have a hell of a bill to pay for what those drunken sailors have squandered away in 6 years. Tiger in Spain 0
Yeah, like Dean, Pelosi, Kennedy, and the others of their ilk are going to change things. The public's loss of faith with their elected officials started way before 2001.

You get -10 in talking points, but did well in "scare tactics." Of the people you named, what have they done to ruin our country?
Tiger in Spain 0
Who will be in charge of the insane asylum when and if they take charge? The ones I mentioned will. They are the reason I will never even consider voting for a democrat. Until changes are made within the party and the moderates retake control from the uber-liberal moonbats, I will (and did) vote a straight ticket. Your girl, Pelosi, made an eyeraising quip yesterday talking about the upcoming in the bag election. She said: "That is the only variable in this," Pelosi said. "Will we have an honest count?'' That whole, "the only way democrats will lose is if republicans cheat" line they have used since the mid-90's. Utterly appalling.

Tiger in Spain 0
They've been held in check. Hopefully, the American voters will keep them that way. Socialism sucks.
