Just curious...

Although both graphs list their sources at the bottom of the graph, did you find them in single article/publication? ..i.e., link? I'd like to read the rest of the work, if so.

That makes two of us. Do you have a link for an article?

As the UAW will soon find out, it's better to work for less than to starve waiting on that golden goose. Wages in this country have been artificially high for some time now. Is it better to have 90% of you people working making more money, or 95% working making that same overall amount?

Tex PM'd me the link:

It's from Daily Kos, so we know it is fair and balanced. Right?

Isn't that one of the sites that Tex never goes to? :o

Socialism at it's finest. Since he/she makes more money, he/she should make more money, too. "Income Equality!"

This says it all right here:

The distribution of wealth is even more skewed...

Unemployment is what, 4.5%? The last numbers I saw had the average hourly wage at around $16/hour - well above the minimum wage and those on minimum wage stay there an average of 6 months. Approximately 2.5% of hourly workers make the minimum wage which includes part time workers and service industry workers where unclaimed tips are about as common as unclaimed children nine months after a Kid Rock World Tour. I am not the Bush supporter I was a year, two years, six years ago, but I don't see many reasons to complain about this economy. Unless you just hate Bush...

Regardless of where Tex found it, the original data was from the Labor Department, Commerce Department, and the IRS, as clearly stated on the charts. So I see no reason to question the source(s).

Poking at the Economy under Bush is laughable. There are a LOT of things you can pick at him about, but the economy? Really?

The dow is above the levels it was under Clinton...when he benifitted GREATLY from over inflated numbers thanks to the internet boom.

Bush got to inherit the bust (got blamed for it), had to endure the economic fallout from 9/11, and STILL has a better, more solidly founded economy than the one under Clinton.

Never said that and you can't find a post where I did. In fact, on that site, they think I'm kinda conservative since I challenge the more irrational liberals there as I challenge the more irrational right wingers here.

I have said I don't frequent Moveon.org and Democratic Underground. I visited each of them a couple of times about 3-4 years ago and haven't been back. Moveon makes lousy ads--- what a waste of money.
