Very little Offensive firepower.

LSU 23 - AU 7

Bama 44 - UT 28

OM 33 - Ark 31

USC 27 - VU 25

WVU 31 - MSU 21

UF 41 - UK 30

Keep dreaming bammer. Didn't you say the same thing before the AU/Florida game? I think AU has a great chance of winning the LSU game and I definitely think they will cover the line. IF AU can stop McFadden they can surely stop Flynn and Hester. As long as AU doesn't turn the ball over and if they can get maybe one or two scores on offense, they have more than a great chance.

Bammer has zero chance of beating UT by 16 - I'll take that bet all day long and twice on Sunday.

If Ole Miss couldn't stop Bama's offense how in the world will they stop McFadden - again that score just shows pure football ignorance.

44-28 Bammer beating Tenn?!?!? Are you joking?

Tenn has the better QB

Tenn has the better Defense

Tenn has the beter O-Line

Tenn has the better Rushing attack

Tenn wins by 14 points

Welcome back, tomater eater.

Ugh, I hate tomatoes, unless they're fried and green. Then they're pretty good, or I like them on my Nachos at Taco Bell. Anyone else for/against tomatoes?

Tenn has the better Defense

I'll give you all the others. And they probably will win. But our D is better than theirs.

HUH?

:om: game ring a bell?

dude yall gave up 21 to FSU, and the only common opponent they gave up less points. Id say the defenses are pretty close to even. Neither one is very good.

Scoring Defense:

UT - 12

UA - 7

Pass Defense

UT - 10

UA - 9

Rusing Defense

UA - 4 (even though we've played Arky)

UT - 9

Pass Def Efficiency

UA - 7

UT - 12

Sacks By

Alabama - 4

UT - 11

Granted, neither defense is all world. But I don't see Bama giving up 59 to UF or 45 to Cal. Nor do I see us giving up 27 to Arkansas St. UT hasn't shown anything this year that would indicate that their D is BETTER than UA's. Both may be bad, but UT's certainly isn't better.

UT is a better overall team, with more talent. But our defense is better.

I live in Irondale, and have only recently discovered the Irondale Cafe, the establishment on which the novel and subsequent movie Fried Green Tomatoes was based on.

Best meat & three I've ever had.

You need to get out more then. I grew up on that place, and find Joel's in Trussville to be 150% better than what is served there.

Auburns Defense is 10th in the SEC. LSU will stop them cold. Maybe even a shutout.

dude, you are embarrassing yourself again. you prove over and over that you know nothing about football. Best if you leave the football talk to the grown ups and you go find little johnny and play with your legos.

I'm another of those weird Southern guys who doesn't eat tomatoes, unless they are in a sauce or something. Maybe too many days picking those big nasty green worms off of them in my Dad's garden as a kid. Now I love about every other Southern vegetable with the exception of squash.

Have to agree with abrnfanatc here, Joel's is better. Although I prefer the Antique Mall in Trussville over Joel's (plus that Joel guy is a d***).

The Irondale Cafe is proud of its food - meat and three with tea costs over $10. And the fried green tomatoes are not that good. FGT's are supposed to have cornmeal in the batter. There are better FGT's at many other meat and three's around town.

Funniest thing I've seen all week. Even the Bammers I work with predicted a big loss tomorrow.

How can a Southerner not like tomatoes? Or sweet tea? Or boiled peanuts?

All I got to say is, bless your heart, you don't know what you're missin'!

Man, slather a couple pieces of "light bread" with mayonnaise, cover one piece with slices of vine-ripened 'maters, add salt and pepper and, damn, you got heaven in a sandwich.

And it's no good unless it gets the bread soggy and drips like crazy! The deliciousness is a direct correlative of the messiness!

'Mater sammiches rock!
