Game 1 at Ole Miss

Recommended Posts

Everybody probably already knows this by now, but Auburn lost to Ole Miss 7-6 last night in Oxford. It was an especially tough loss as Auburn led 6-2 in the 7th, but Ole Miss scored 1 in the 7th, 1 in the 8th and then hit a walk-off 3-run homer in the bottom of the 9th with 1 out. Grant Dayton pitched a good game, but the Tigers could not hold on and secure the win for him. Auburn needs to win both remaining games in the series to stand a realistic shot of going to Hoover. It is doubtful. Also, Arkansas managed a win against South Carolina, LSU won their 10th straight SEC game (this 1 against Miss. St.-Auburn hosts LSU next weekend), and Bama got past Florida.

If Slater is not gone after this season, every Auburn fan on this planet needs to email Jay Gogue to let him know that Jacobs needs to be fired.
