AUBURNJAC

Recommended Posts

I just heard a breaking story on ESPN radio that Jaguars reciever Matt Jones was busted sitting in his truck in Fayettville busting up some cocaine (Felony Charges according to them).....It also said that two other "former" razorbacks were in the car with him but it didn't tell their names at the time.

WHAT A DUMB ASS! HOG IT UP HOGS!!!!!! :arky:

No wonder he looked like a jack rabbit when he ran all over Auburn a few years ago!

QUICK! everybody condemn Jack Del Rio for not teaching him cocaine is a bad thing, also CHN for not teaching him those morals in college. <_< he was arrested with Jared Hicks and Benjamin Cook.

Well at least CJDR noticed a problem and change in behavior and tried to get his attention.

Coach Jack Del Rio became increasingly frustrated with Jones' demeanor and work ethic last season, making him inactive for three games.

Make fun all you want, but Nick Saban is a piece of crap coach that cares nothing about his players. All he cares about is winning at any cost and he instead of trying to take care of problems, he tries to ignore them in hopes the problems on that team will go away.

When you keep defending Saban like you do, you are just making a fool of yourself. Too many people in Tuscaloosa, even former players, would laugh at your continual attempts of trying to convince us of how much of a "disciplinarian" Saban is. So, when you try to make it sound like you have inside info, when there are people that actually do have real inside info, and it contradicts what you say, it just makes you look more and more like a fool bro.

Jimmy Johns played 3 whole downs in 07 (downs, not games) and didn't figure into 08 either. so i guess by your example, CNS did more to try and get Jimmy Johns' attention than CJDR did for Matt Jones??

so, to sum your post up, Nick Saban hates every single one of his players because you say so, and you're not really going to address my post. gotcha.

Calling :bs:

2007 season (you need to look at your own teams stats before you blow)

Not only did he have carry's in 3 GAMES but...

He appeared in every game but 1 (all but La Monroe...how funny is that).

He was also listed 1st and or 2nd string on depth charts after spring practice in 2008

You just keep drinking Saban's Kool-aid.

Wasn't JJ the one that fumbled the ball in the LAMO game at the goalline?

Yes, I am afraid that he was the one that did that. I guess I am one of those that just want to throw Johns under the bus, and if I ever saw him dealing to anyone, that is exactly what I would want to physically do, and that feeling has nothing to do with football.

Yes, my bad that's why he was not listed in the "also Participated area",

he was listed as a starter that game.

So I was wrong...

He participated in EVERY game in 2007.

I didn't know you could carry the ball 17 times, have 3 receptions, and 1 return in 3 downs. That is truly amazing.

crap, the drop down was pre-set on Receiving instead of Rushing.....my bad. apparently i need to pay better attention <_<

i am assuming each of those "-" for the games means did not participate in, in which that would be 5 games he did not step foot on the field. there are only 4 games in 07 that he had any kind of stat for. i wouldn't call 69 rushing yards, 41 receiving yards, 5 return yards and a TD any kind of major contribution to the team.

You just keep spinning and drinking.

Point was he got into every game last year.

(Unless maybe CNS got his attention by sitting him for either the first or second half of games, that I can't tell from the stats). ;)

No I think that the point was that Matt Jones' Jaguar salary was slightly higher than the one afforded to Jimmy Johns during his career at UAT... Therefore Del Rio expected more personal responsibility from Jones. Geez for $4 mill doesn't little nicky have a couch in his office to counsel players???

This is such a weak attempt to defend Saban it is not worth the time spent on it.

I asked Coach Dunn one time who was the best offensive player he had played against. He said by far Matt Jones.

1) College football is as much about character building and turning boys into men. Anyone but a bammer will agree that it is imperative to college coaching. This is not so with the NFL.

2) I've heard bammers try to rewrite history since this Johns thing broke saying "Oh he wasn't a factor on the team anyway", but never anyone actually attempt to back up that load of smoke. Weird how last year I heard about what a phenom he was (and yes, I heard it all the time from bammers, and no I will not search the board for where you specifically ever said it). Weird how when I gleefully broke the news of the Johns thing to uat grad GIRLS who couldn't name 10 current players, they responded variations of "Aw, that sucks, he was always my favorite player". It is truly a strange phenomenon to behold the way the REC, machine, or whoever it is takes those mind eraser things from Men In Black and wipes your whole fanbase.
