Recommended Posts

AUBURN, Ala. - Justin Fradejas has been named the SEC Player of the Week after the junior outfielder went 9-for-19 (.474) with three doubles, six RBI and six runs scored last week, helping Auburn to a 4-1 record and its first home series win over No. 3 LSU since 1998.

Fradejas successfully extended his hitting streak to 14 games, collecting four multi-hit games in the process to raise his batting average from .283 before the week started to .338 after Sunday's win over LSU. In the series-clincher on Sunday, Fradejas dropped down a perfectly executed safety squeeze bunt in the bottom of the ninth to score the game-winning run.
