I don't know....i just know they weren't really high on him for some reason.....can't point to any one thing i have heard though

You are dead on, IMO.  I think our new staff never had much interest in him and Trooper and Co. probably knew a little more about him being from that same region than our old coaches.  I will trust them on this one.

I am not here bashing Kenney at all but I did some research and found out why Auburn isn't in it for him anymore.....first of all the Auburn coaches stopped talking to Kenney and also heard that he has character issues so thats the basic reason for backing off of him

Thank goodness.  I am happy to continue keeping in mind character.  I hope this is why we dropped him and not because he was left by the wayside. He does appear to be very talented.

There is a guy I have heard from "in the know" that is well trusted on his info by many and he said the new staff contacted Kenney.  He said that if we had been the coaches in that situation then we would have backed off too, and fast!
