Best Lineup?

I felt we had the best lineup we had all season today, what is everybody's thoughts?

-Patterson at DH, Fradejas and Mummey both playing.  If I could hand pick a batting order/today's order would be it.  Would anybody make any changes?

Today's was very good. We couldn't use it before because of injuries.

I'd have to agree. I love the speed that Fradejas and Mummey bring to the lineup.

I prefer Bryant or Creede in for Gamache, but with Bryant being out for probably the rest of the regular season, that isn't possible. Creede has proven himself though, and may get a shot a third at some point.

I think best lineup would be

LF Fradejas

CF Mummey

RF Fletcher

1b Morris

C Caldwell

DH Patterson

3b Bryant/Simpson

ss McElroy

2b Hargett

which is basically what we had besides Gamache at 3b

I agree that Bryant and Simpson give us more pop in the lineup, but in my opinion neither make up for their liability on defense at 3rd being that Gamache is hitting nearly as well as them.  I would like to see us bat Simpson for Patterson against lefties.

Gamache has been terrible at third thus far. Bryant has been solid on D wherever he has been, and Creede was in the third base competition in the fall/winter before Mummey got hurt and Creede took the CF/RF job. I don't think either of their defense could be much worse than Gamache has been so far.
