AUDomination 0
An email with a subject line of "Dear mail.auburn.edu Account User" coming from either helpdesk@auburn.edu , mail@auburn.edu , or techdesk@aim.com has been circulating on campus. The email is asking you to provide password, birth date, and other personal information. Coincidentally the email mentions a system upgrade, but this is a phishing (scam) attempt and not genuine AU email - PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO IT. OIT and other AU IT staff will never ask you to send personal information or your password to them via email. If you have responded to this email you are urged to change your password as soon as possible. If you have concerns or need assistance please contact the OIT Helpdesk
