I haven't read too many good things about this new service pack. I've read reviews that say the free version of Zone Alarm is still better. IE has been dragging behind for a while now.

And now, MS puts out a huge list of programs that may not work correctly after SP2 installation. I still can't believe they worded it like that. :blink:

I don't think SP2 is out on the Automatic Update servers yet but this list is quite lengthy...might want to check it out. Thank God Call of Duty isn't on it! :)

I think a lot of it has to do with firewall issues. If you notice, a lot of those programs pull info from the web. I'm willing to bet that the new firewall is garbage. So now the udpate that MS really wanted to concentrate on (security) did more harm than good. The next press release from MS will say "for best results, please turn off windows firewall." hmm.gif
