Very interesting.  I also hate the superdelegate setup - it comes off as rigging the primary - but I do think a more proportional distribution of delegates would be preferable to winner take all, especially in cases where you have 8-10 candidates splintering the vote such that someone could "win" a state with only 32% of the votes.
