Well great minds think alike....I'll try to delete my thread....lol

I was wondering if anybody was out there...I should have known.  Brett Wright with a poke to the gap off the wall in the canyon.  Bats are still en fuego to start the Tuesday mid-week.

Meanwhile in Gainesville, South Florida jumped out to a 6-0 lead on Florida...Gators have gotten three back, now 6-3 in the bottom of the third.

Connor Davis with a pretty athletic diving catch to record out number two in the second.  Nothing doing for the Jags after two...still 1-0.

This could get ugly, the Eiland kid pitching for the Jags in his home town is getting beat up.  Venter with a very large two run homer over the monster.  3-0 with nobody out in the bottom of the second.

Was it Davis? I think it might've been Judd Ward if you're talking about LF.

You are correct.  I was thinking CD didn't have that in him...he didn't.

It was a great play. Ward is a gifted athlete.

That wasn't even close at second.  South Alabama catcher Perkins with a beautiful catch and release to hose Ward.

Team coming out serious......give Owens a little margin for error.  He just needs to throw strikes....not try and get too cute.....and avoid lead off walks.

He's on cruise control right now, looking as good as I've seen from him.

Freshmen in the outfield making errors mostly. Owen is still OK. USA has probably the best player in college baseball. No one is gonna keep Swaggerty off the bases for long anyway. Owen struck him out twice tonight already IIRC.

I'm sure Butch figured Wright would be good, but wow has he been rock solid in every aspect of the game.
