If we can give Bo time our WRs are getting consistently open and seperation. The running game is a lost cause so far. We need to throw to set up the run.

Also we need to run bo more. On that pass to sal he could of ran easily for the first down to. There is lanes for him. He is going to have to be our leading rusher today.

Throw down the field not screens. The LBs are cheating up to stop the run. Slants and crossing routes should work.

Some of y’all need to chill the you know what out....Minny has found a wrinkle in the run game and is executing it to perfection. I think the guys will adjust to it in the second half

Another perfect first half of play calling, but the players didn’t execute.  I can see clearly now

Well buddy we sure ain’t gonna blame Gus because he’s beaten Saban three times and thats really all that we can expect at Auburn.

Can anyone recall a game where our opponent just 'mailed' it in and not put forth the effort???? The belief is we did it against UCF and now this first half??? If bama, they'll say they just 'mailed' it in...

Yep. We wasted a pick and they took advantage of the muffed punt.

That and Malzahn's signature idiotic play calling/inability to keep the D off the field are a big part of this game.

The other is we are getting manhandled at the point of attack

Offensively and defensively.

Minnesota is putting almost 300 yards on us. We've mustered 110 so far.

This is without their apparently top tackle (6-9 and 400 lbs).

We've gotten an interception but converted that for three points.

Tutt, usually reliable, makes a critical error and gave them an opportunity to cash in, and Minnesota did not fail.

Our run defense is being demolished, and we cannot run at all.

Took us a fourth and 5 to score on a busted coverage.

A trick play that went awry--if a team has to use trick plays on you--that does not inspire confidence.

We're just outclassed, outcoached, and outschemed right now. Will the second half change? If we fail to score points on our first drive and we show no intensity in our defensive possession, this will be a foregone 9-4 season.

Biggest issue on offense is the oline continues to get beat on every play. No running lanes and the completed passes are Bo using his feet and/or within 5 yards of the los

Exhibit A of why we need a new OL coach. Give Grimes a nudge to a nice, happy retirement. He's at the right age.

Every TIME Joiner comes into the game he's getting the ball. EVERY TIME. The D's know this.

So infuriating.

You are correct. Especially with a motion type play

We're a run first, play action team.

The run isn’t there. Both the perimeter and interior run blocking has been lackluster.

I was merely quoting the head coach.  You know, the one who hasn't built a run first play action team.
