  1. I don't think anyone is REALLY saying fire Freeze, they're just pissed we choked away a game we had a generously 75% chance to win with 40 seconds left or so. We have no choice but to let him continue recruiting, to do otherwise would be foolish. People are just mad we "rushed" 2 (in reality they were playing patty cake with the OLmen) and had a spy on Milroe when any semi conscious football fan knows you bring at least 4 like we were doing most of the night. Hell, maybe he runs and we win but you bring SOME pressure to make him get antsy and make a hasty decision.
  2. Battie has fielded punts right? (looked it up, just kickoffs) Seems like he has and may have muffed one himself but it sure seems like Moore has muffed 2 or 3 prior to tonight.

Honestly we were running out of ways to lose games so you have to admire both the special teams and defensive coaches creativity.
  4. 4th and 31 QB had lots of time with 4 man rush but did get hurried at times. He CANT run in that situation cause someone can come up from deep to get him so it HAS to be a deep pass. Letting sit there and not have to make faster decisions was a total failure in coaching and there's no other way to spin it.
  5. I don't know either but it would be awesome to find out.
  6. 2020 Missouri 5–5 5–5 3rd (East) Music City[n 1] 2021 Missouri 6–7 3–5 T-4th (East) L Armed Forces 2022 Missouri 6–7 3–5 T-4th (East) L Gasparilla 2023 Missouri 9–2 5–2 2nd (East) Missouri: 26–21 16–17 And in a parting shot, this is for the East....THE EAST!!!!
  7. So you want to hire the guy that had 3 losing seasons before he had a winning one instead of just keep the guy that has at very least broken even this year...the first after putting out a tire fire on arrival? I guess the fact he lost his 2 bowl games so far makes it like comfort food? I'm sorry, I just ran out of words the forum will allow me to post.
  8. If we are 8-4 next year and 9-3 the following, that would indicate progress (assuming the losses are to teams in general better than us). Saturday was by all accounts viewed as a throw away game by the staff and players and at a most likely 6-6, that isn't progress, that's just cashing a paycheck. That said, we are just in a worse position than I think a lot of fan appreciate. Our OL has been a liability since, what, 2018? Several other positioned got filled on signing days with Plan Ds, then Mr Potato Head runs off several of the quality kids we did have on the team. This year wasn't ever going to be anything special but it should be one where we don't continually get stupid penalties in game 11 and stubbornly run for 2 yards every play.
  9. Let me summarize, 💰💰💰💰, Chargers, suits, 💰💰💰💰. Oh, and a state media that momma didn't love enough.
  10. I was thinking Miss St. I think TAM is going to want someone more polished.
  11. While you're foretelling the future, how is the NASDAQ going to do the next few months?
  12. Against 8-4 or 9-3 Ok St? Well that should be fun.
  13. Yes. In case you hadn't noticed, the offensive coaches stopped trying to put a square peg into a triangle hole and made an offensive gameplan that Milroe could better understand and optimized his strengths. You know, coaching....something we have desperately lacked this year.
  14. Oh, me, me me!!! For one, you fire the OC tonight before he can inflict his malaise any longer into the offense that just needs someone that can think their way out of a wet paper bag. Have we once rolled Thorne out for a planned throw? Once all year? (I honestly don't know because I can't stomach watching this offense flounder and will do things that are productive instead of watching that hot garbage)
  15. It's based on the FACT that Saban, when facing a similarly talented team, usually loses. Smart may actually be a great coach but Saban made his rep off being able to buy better players. The thing is, Saban rarely played anyone with similar talent over the last 12 years but when they did, they usually lost.
  16. We have plenty of good players. The problem is we have mediocre to poor OL (for the most part), mediocre to poor WRs including TE (for the most part), and a pathetic OC (or at least offensive coaching, game planning and correcting poor execution). The defense plays fairly well, especially the DBs but we still lose containment too often and miss too many tackles. I would say our 1st string is above average on the whole with the for mentioned deficiencies at OL and WR. The problem is most of our 2nd string is below average whether from inexperience or talent (RBs being an exception) But the problem today was not due to that, we didn't get out-talented today, we got out coached. Their coach gave a sh8t about this game and ours clearly didn't or the players would have been better prepared and played with better intensity and focus.
  17. Final post - The thing that bothers me most is all season long, I've seen offensive players either not bother to make perimeter blocks or completely whiff, linemen that don't know how to hold and when to release, and offensive gameplans that seriously suck (with a couple of exceptions). And though the defense played pretty well most of the year, today guys weren't taking good angles and some looked like they were loafing pretty bad. And of all the idiot QB carousel we had most of the season, this was the one game where putting Robby in might have been strategic.
  18. Losing to USF at home was bad, needing a last second onside kick and TD against Utah St was bad (but a win), losing to TAM in 2012 was bad, losing to a horrible Tenn at home with 3 turnovers was bad, but this game takes the cake. The coaches should have to run stadiums with the rest of the team till they all puke.
  19. It may not be the sky but huge chucks of something are crashing to the ground.
  20. Seriously? Dominating an undefeated team for the first half of the BSC game and losing in the final minute? LOL
  21. Dude, NMst just whipped our @ss. There is no play better. We will be lucky to not get anyone killed, more or less a 1st down. This is the worst loss I can remember from the last 43 years. And from my perspective it looks like the coaches didn't bother to even try and get the team ready...and if they did, they should ALL be fired tonight. This whole season has been a dumpster fire. Even the win at Arky was fools gold, if you watched the game it was more how bad they sucked than we were good. I don't get bothered by losing to a more talented team, or even a competitive game with an equal team, but assuming that they have equal talent, which isn't too much a stretch at this point, we looked poorly coached to be getting the stupid penalties this late in the season. Mix in the QB mismanagement and just utterly stupefying offensive gameplan all year and well.....here we are.
