Roberts hasn't done anything to get fired as far as coaching and game play. Montgomery hasn't done anything to show he deserves the job

I've never coached a day in my life but it's obvious there is a more glaring issue on offense than talent. We are chronically doing stuff that the average fan knows is dumb....mainly the 2 QB system AND how it's being implemented. If it's Freeze's call, Montgomery should object enough to either get fired or quit unless it changes. It's his reputation on the line. If it's his idea, he should be fired end of season at the very least.

Yeah, you can say that but OLines take time to sync up (pretty much new line due to talent deficiencies from previous staffs), QB's and WRs need time together to get timing down (pretty much new squad due to talent deficiencies from previous staffs), and brand new coaching staffs take time to get wrinkles ironed out (well, most do their first year, some manage to put it together much better than this goat rodeo), and teams take time to learn new schemes from said new coaching staff. I guess my point is there's plenty of space to blame Freeze for his share of the missteps but ample left over to remember WHY we are where we are and that's partially Gus and even more so on Harsin (who managed to run off several of the good players we ALREADY had on the team).

I could be wrong but there seem to be more terrible teams in the SEC this year, and no juggernauts. UGA and maybe Mizzou are good but not great, $puat has a pretty good defense, LSU and OM have good offenses, everyone else seems pedestrian as hell.

I'll say it one last time. Bo was running for his life most of the time he was at AU. Our OL was terrible, on a scale I don't think I've ever seen at AU, like multiple free pass rushers virtually every play. No QB is going to be effective under those conditions.
