I know that the Big 12 or whatever they call themselves now has amazing defense but is that really comparable with strength of schedule? Additionally, I would wager their OL is a tad better than ours.

If the program depends on one player for success we are already in deep trouble. Bo needs to do what's right for him and AU will find someone that WANTS to play here.

I've always thought if your QB is on a roll you leave him in. For instance if we don't move the ball well the first 2 drives but the QB is settling in and improving then you leave him in (assuming coaches are adjusting to the defense). If after 3 series you haven't done anything it's definitely time for the backup to get a shot if he's competent...and I think TJ is.

Fair enough, I would have liked to get a couple more highly rated linemen but some years just don't pan out. All that means is the coaches have to work harder making the most of the players they do have.

Things that work for the state schools in places like Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana don't work so great for Auburn, and we generally do pretty well. Some people need to put on their big boy pants and expect our coaches to work harder to get our players conditioned, tough, and smart. Sheesh, what a bunch of defeatist.

JJ hasn't been put in to pass in the redzone much if at all as I recall. And if he had it was a sack more often than not. SW has 2 goalline INTs that I know of off the top of my head.

I'm with you. I appreciate these coaches jobs live and die by their recruits but at the same time, I believe in honoring a commitment unless there are extenuating circumstances.
